Hadassah BrainLabs Center for Psychedelic Research is proud to announce the inception of the first clinical trial emanating from our preclinical work. A Phase 1 Study is underway on the “Safety and Psychological Effects of Psilocybin and D-Serine Formulation in Healthy Volunteers.” The study brings to the clinic the hypothesis proposed by Prof. Uriel Heresco-Levy and Prof. Bernard Lerer and the preclinical proof of concept study of PhD students Tom Ben Tal and Ilana Pgodin, conducted in the Hadassah BrainLabs Center for Psychedelic Research. It is being conducted in a purpose-designed treatment suite in the Department of Internal Medicine at Hadassah Medical Center in collaboration with Dr. David (Dudu) Hakimian.
